HI all,

I can't seem to get xVal working with MVC 2 preview 2. I fallowed everything to the letter in http://blog.codeville.net/2009/01/10/xval-a-validation-framework-for-aspnet-mvc/ ant still have problems. Even tried to use the latest source code. xVal seems to work just fine in MVC 1.0 but problems occur in the latest version. The error I am getting is something like this:

"error CS1026: ) expected d:\bugging\...\Views\Home\Test.aspx(45,55): error CS1525: Invalid expression term ')'" I don't have any clue what to do next.

Help would be much apreciated

MVC 2 has a xVal alternative built in.

Scott Gu has some notes on it in this blog post.

yes but I like the remote validation feature in xVal that isn't in the current release of asp.net MVC 2 preview 2. Guess I will use the validation given and when they add the rest of the features of xVal I will use it.
